“Fall” Its always too soon to quit!

I was given a set of pastel chalk for Christmas and thought I would try to use them in creating a maze.   They are not good for drawing the strong lines I like my pieces in the maze to have.  So I mixed the drawing with pen, marker and colored the background with pastels.  I used some recycled poster board that was solid black .  I think it mixed well the orange and red color. The piece was too big to scan the reason for the horrible photos.

  1. It looks great! The color makes the whole painting look more alive! You should experiment more with color! And I love the warm tones! why not try and do the whole maze in dark brown or red? 🙂

  2. Great to see you back! xx Angela

  3. You just keep thinking outside the box. Very nice.

  4. It’s amazing how your work has evolved. I’ve followed this blog for quite a while, and I just love everything you make, you keep getting better. This piece is especially beautiful!

    • Thanks I was trying to figure out how to store all my work the other day and I realized how many mazes I’ve created. And then to see the last few I created in complete color kinda blew my mind.

  5. Great idea! And fabulous results!
